David M. Gorwitz, Attorney at Law

David Gorwitz brings more than 20 years of practical business and management experience to his law practice.  Prior to earning his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School, Mr. Gorwitz served as President and CEO of The Sailboat House, Inc. (a successful regional boat dealership), Managing Member of United Sailing Technologies, LLC (an importer of marine electronics), Managing Member of SBG, LLC (a commercial real estate development enterprise), and as a management consultant with CUNA Mutual’s Business Development Services group, where he counseled credit union management teams and boards of directors in strategic planning, marketing and sales management.

Mr. Gorwitz earned his M.B.A. at the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh and his B.B.A. at the University of Wisconsin – Madison.  An avid sailor, Mr. Gorwitz continues to compete in local, national and international sailing events.  Mr. Gorwitz, his wife Lori and daughters Samantha and Marisa make their home in Madison, Wisconsin.
